How do we book The Oakridge Studio for our wedding?

The best way to request a booking is through our website, but you can also book via e-mail or telephone for assisted booking

How many years have you been doing music?

Andrew and Rachel have been musicians since they were kids. Both studied music in college and have been traveling, performing, and teaching music since the 90s. We have been doing weddings for more than 2 decades, and are confident we can meet your needs. 

What are your rates?

What kind of payments do you accept?

The Oakridge Studio takes credit cards through Square, Paypal, Apple Pay, personal checks*, and cash.

*Returned check fees will be added into the final bill.

Do we need to pay a deposit to book?

Yes – a 50% deposit is required to book and hold your date. 10% of this fee is non-refundable. 

PLEASE NOTE: If you have not submitted your deposit, you do NOT have your date reserved. We will consider that date open on our calendar until a deposit is received.

When is the remaining balance due?

The remainder of the cost is due 30 days prior to your event date. 

Do you book outdoor venues?

Yes, but because of our instruments, tech, and musicians, we have some basic requirements for outdoor bookings:

Shade must be provided or an extra $75 tent fee will apply.

Level ground required for set up.

Electricity required for set up.

Chance of precipitation should be discussed as instruments and tech cannot get wet.

How far will you travel?

All package costs include travel within a 60-mile radius of the 47265 zip code. Additional travel will be charged at $0.75 per mile.

What is the couple expected to provide?

You will only need to provide space for our equipment and electricity within a reasonable distance. Additional requirements do apply for outdoor events.

Will you attend the wedding rehearsal?

If you have purchased a ceremony package, then yes, we will attend and participate in the ceremony rehearsal as this allows for us to work through timing and performance issues. If you are only purchasing a reception package, then no, we will not attend the ceremony or ceremony rehearsal.

What type of music do you offer?

We will perform any genre of music you choose, performed in our style with live musicians and instruments. However, we can also curate and mix your own customized recorded playlist if you would prefer.

Will you provide accompaniment for my friends and family who want to sing?

Yes! The ceremony package includes special songs during the ceremony. We would be happy to provide accompaniment for any special person who would like to sing or play an instrument at this time. Additional rehearsal time may be required, which would need to be discussed and quoted for price.

Will we meet to plan the music before the wedding?

Yes – all of our packages include a consultation. Additional consultations can be added at an extra cost.

What is the starting price for ceremony music?

The Ceremony Package starts at $500 but can be customized for your special day!

What is the starting price for reception music?

The Reception Package starts at $1000 but provides lots of options for customization to make your party perfect!

What is the starting price for the combination package?

The Ceremony Package starts at $1200 but can be customized for your special day!
